Huh?

I just had to share this, see if you got the same reaction that I did.  This is an actual email reply I received regarding an on-line order I placed....amazing.  Things that make you say 'hmmmm'....and provide a chuckle too.

The product you have order is flammable and by our hazardous laws we are not allowed to ship by air. If you have an address in the U.S. it can be shipped to that would be fine, otherwise I will refund your money back. We do have locations in Hawaii that carry our products. I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our address is in the US but apparently you don’t ship on-line orders to Alaska except by air. Can you ship via the US postal service which uses the barge from Washington to Anchorage? If not, can you please tell me if there is a retail location in Anchorage that sells your product? We have bought this here before but cannot find it now.

The postage on that would be a little expensive. However, there is Foreign Auto & Truck Supply in Anchorage AK and their number is 907-561-4721. Give them a call they are a distributor of ours.

So, now that you have read this email, are you wondering what I'm wondering?  Isn't Alaska part of the US?  Why is this guy telling me that I can buy this product in Hawaii?  Does he think I can drive there from Alaska?  Have you looked at most maps of the United States?  And if he thinks it's so expensive to ship 12 cans of tire shine via USPS, how did they get the stuff to their supplier here in Anchorage?  If only I could get a picture of a map in this post....
